I really found the concept of the transitory nature of public space to be facinating, especially how changing technologies change the boundaries of public/private space. There were some parallels between what I experienced on our walkabout last class, thinking about shelter, in dual nature of cars and other transportation, being both sheltering and exposed, public and private. The article talked about how increasingly, public space became a space of movement and transportation, yet we often think of ourselves in private space when we are traveling by car.
